Solution:
Use the Departmental/Organizational
Non-Person Service Account form to create a new service account that
will be used to run Administrative applications that are supported by OIT/AIS.
When filling out the form:
- Select 'Service Account' as the Type of Account
- Important - Check yes in the box titled "Will this service account be used to run an administrative application supported by OIT/AIS?"
- Answering yes to the above question will make the default group for the account = 'puadm'.
- Fill out other fields as appropriate.
