Princeton Gmail: Configuration settings for Windows smartphone
Synopsis:
How to configure your Princeton Gmail account on a Windows based mobile device.


Solution:

  • On Start, flick left to the App list, scroll down and tap Settings , and then tap E-mail + Accounts.

  • Tap Add an account.
  • Select Google.
  • Tap the E-mail address box, and then type your fully qualified Princeton E-mail address (netid@princeton.edu).

  • Tap the Password box, and then type your password.
  • Tap Sign in.
  • Your e-mail, contacts, and calendar will begin syncing. Once complete, and while still on the settings screen, tap the account you just created.
  • You can change the Account name to Princeton Google to differentiate it from other Google accounts.



Your Princeton Gmail, contacts and calendar will be synced to your phone as indicated by the interval listed under Download new content.
