How much does Dormnet cost and how will I be billed?
-or-
I don't live in Dormnet-equipped housing -- how do I get Internet access while on campus and how much will I be charged?
Solution:
Dormnet is a service that allows students to connect their computer(s) to
the campus network and Internet from locations on campus where the network
is available. This includes wired service as well as wireless.
There are no fees associated with student Dormnet subscriptions. Additional computers and devices can be subscribed without charge, as long as their use does not result in conflicts or disruption of network service.
Dormnet service is available in all of the undergraduate dorms and many of the graduate student residences, including the Graduate College. To determine if your housing is Dormnet-equipped, see: Dormnet: Availability in dorms. Graduate students who live in housing that is not Dormnet-equipped should see: Grad Students: How to connect to the network on or off campus.
