Accounts: Default quota for the use of OIT provided accounts and how to request an increase.


Solution:

There are several different types of accounts that are provided by OIT. To request additional quota for any of these accounts, please go to the Account Quota Increase Form.


Current Quotas and Pricing

Exchange email and calendaring services

  • Default quota: 2GB
  • Above 2 GB, additional email quota can be requested in 100MB increments.
  • Quota increase timeframe: The quota increase form creates a ticket in the Accts-Quota OPM queue; these are addressed and processed within one business day. Once processed, the change is immediate.


Central File Server - Individual (Unix/H:drive)
  • Default quota: 5GB
  • Quota increase timeframe: The quota increase form creates a ticket in the Accts-Quota OPM queue; these are addressed and processed within one business day. Once processed, the change is effective within one hour.


Central File Server - Departmental

  • Default quota: 100GB
  • Departmental quota is unlimited


WebSpace
  • Individual default quota: 5GB
