Synopsis:
I would like to install software on my DeSC computer - how can I log on as an administrator?

Solution:
Software installation on DeSC computers requires an administrator password. DeSC software is generally installed using SMS (Systems Management Server). SMS is active on every DeSC computer, and it allows automated, unattended installation of new software.

In order to install software on these computers, you must have an administrator password. In general, SCAD members and OIT Software Support members are allowed to install software. Please contact the OIT Help Desk at 8-4357(HELP) to request a visit from Software Support.
