Title:
Solutions Center: How do I arrange for walk-in support to fix my computer?

Synopsis:
For personal computers requiring diagnosis of software/hardware troubles as well as software/operating system installs, please see the following guidelines for bringing your computer to the Help Desk.

Solution:
You no longer need an appointment to bring your computer to the Help Desk for support. The OIT Solutions Center Help (located on the 100 level in Frist) allows customers to bring their computers in and work with a consultant who will triage the problem and give you the tools and guidance to resolve the problem. All Princeton University community members are eligible to visit the Solutions Center and work with a consultant. You will be asked to show a valid Princeton University ID card when you visit. You will need to arrive between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For more information about the OIT Solutions Center, including its hours of operation and location, please see Solution 9454. For information on what to bring with you to the Solutions Center, please see: Solution 5238.
