SYNOPSIS:
Star Office Available from OIT Sun Workstations.
SOLUTION:
Star Office 5.1 has been installed in the following directory on all public OIT Solaris systems:
/opt/StarOffice
If you have difficulty installing or using Star Office, please consult the on-line documentation first. At this time, only system level installation support is available, and bugs should be reported to the Help Desk.
For Linux, Star Office is available on CD-ROM from OIT Software Sales. You can borrow the CD-ROM from the Software Sales office for your installation. OIT Software Sales hours are Monday-Friday, 10:30 to 4:30. Please call in advance for availability. See the following webpage for information regarding OIT Software Sales:
