Is Dormnet available to me where I live? What does "Dormnet Equipped" mean?
Solution:
Dormnet is a subscription service that allows students who own computers
unlimited access to the Internet and campus network from their campus rooms.
All students, undergraduate and graduate, who desire Dormnet connectivity in the Library, must subscribe to Dormnet. For any student living in housing that is not Dormnet-equipped (e.g., the Millstone Apartments), a Dormnet subscription for Mobile Dormnet (bring your laptop on campus and plug-in anywhere!) is available.
Every student registered as living in one of these locations has their primary Dormnet subscription bundled in their room rate. These entries in the Host Database should be set to HOST, so long as there is a MAC address in the entry.
Here is the list of "Dormnet Equipped" locations:

Should a student's housing situation change, the Host Database is not dynamic and will not reflect that change. Students will need to actively change their entry in the Host Database should this be the case.
