How can I disable auto logon to Outlook (in Exchange mode)?. I would like to be prompted for a password.
This doesn't happen by default because Exchange uses password authentication passed from the Princeton Domain logon.
To disable password authentication so that you must enter your password when launching Outlook in order to connect to your Inbox, use the following instructions:
- Click on the Tools pull down menu and select E-mail accounts
- View existing accounts.
- Open account settings.
- On the General tab, change your option from Password Authentication to None.
- Outlook will subsequently prompt for logon credentials before opening e-mail.
