Title:
Training: Technology Learning Initiative for online self-help and documentation
Technology Learning Initiative

Introduction

The Technology Learning Initiative web pages are intended to introduce any user to the Information Technology resources available on campus. In designing these pages, the OIT Help Desk has made every effort to provide an easy-to-understand overview of some of the most common topics related to computing and the internet.

The web pages within each section rely upon each other for a full explanation of each topic. Because of this, it is best to read all of the pages in each section to understand the basics of that topic.

The information contained in these pages is only an introduction. There is much more information available on each of these topics, and OIT provides many resources to find more information on any technology-related subject. The OIT Help Desk is your first source of information. The KnowledgeBase maintained by the OIT Help Desk contains solutions to general computing problems as well as Princeton-specific IT issues. You can browse the KnowledgeBase to find your own answers or you can contact the Help Desk for direct assistance with your questions.
