TSM: How to remove the software after leaving the University
Synopsis:
TSM: How to remove the software after leaving the University

Solution:

After you leave the University, all faculty, staff, and  graduate students should remove TSM software so that it will not affect your computer's performance.

Windows

OIT has developed a tool that will automatically remove the TSM client software from your Windows computer.

You can download this tool from this link: TSM Removal Tool.

To remove TSM using the tool, launch the TSMRemove.exe program and follow the online prompts.

OS X

Disabling the TSM scheduler on a Mac requires one command:

sudo "/Library/Application Support/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/StopCad.sh"

Then TSM can be uninstalled from a Mac, if desired, with one more command:

sudo "/Library/Application Support/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/uninstall.sh"
