Details:
On Friday October 30, 2009 between 7:30AM and noon the QA Solaris and Linux systems managed by IT's Enterprise Servers and Storage group will be patched with OS and Oracle database updates. During this time all Oracle database development environments and the following non-production systems will be unavailable.
The outage for Linux servers will be for approximately 10 minutes while the server is rebooting.
